2K Room 110 – Learning Goals
In this room, your child will grow and thrive with love and support!
Our goal is for them to feel safe and loved and start to develop the
following skills:
- Use 3-5 word sentences
- Can identify most familiar objects
- Using ‘please’ and ‘thank you’
- Starting to play with friends
- Trying to take turns
- Beginning to work on sharing
- Starting to show sympathy and empathy
- Start to participate in pretend play
- Eating and drinking independently
- Starting to or beginning to master potty training
- Identifying colors, shapes, animals
- Counting 1-25
- Recognition/concept of 1-10
- Recognizing some letters of the alphabet

- Saying 50 more words
- Starting to put together 2-word phrases (‘more milk’)
- Starting to say and use ‘please’ and ‘thank you’
- Can point to an object in a book
- Follows two-step directions
- Jumping
- Builds block towers
- Might show interest in potty training
- Showing a wide range of emotions
- Identifying animals, some shapes and some colors
- Counting 1-25
- Recognition/concept of 1-10
- Recognizing some letters of the alphabet
