In this room, your child will grow and thrive with love and support!
Our goal is for them to feel safe and loved and start to develop the
following skills:
- Can zip, snap and buckle
- Can pedal and steer a tricycle
- Thread small beads on a string
- Manipulate play-doh and make different shapes
- Can say name and address
- Starting to understand concepts of something that is bigger vs. smaller
- Matching objects
- Follows multi-step directions
- Identify letter name, sounds and formations
- Can write their name and letters
- Can put letters and sounds together to form words
- Starting to read basic words and sentences
- Understanding vowels vs. consonants
- One-vowel and two-vowel rules
- Using scissors
- Using glue
- Counting 1-100
- Recognition/concept of 1-20
- Writing numbers 1-20
- Understanding numbers that come before and after
- Understanding more and less
- Basic addition
